Our member services break down into two areas - Internal and External.
INTERNAL - As a small, tight-knit community - our Chamber is powered almost entirely by volunteers. We've partnered with an organization called Chamber Nation and they run a service called DocuTeam who handles the majority of our "back office" technology. They specifically provide extensive onboarding services for our new / renewing members. Members also enjoy an internal / private network where we can communicate with each other, pass along referrals, create coupons and events, and share news and documents.
EXTERNAL - Our external services take the results of your one-on-one onboarding and documenting your business and share them with the world! Then later you'll begin to receive monthly ROI (return on investment) reports for this online advertising - so you can see your membership dollars and our community's efforts in action.
The Ellenville-Wawarsing Chamber of Commerce also offers some community services (in which members are featured). These include a press release upload area, a job board, and our popular area-wide Calendar of Events.
ONBOARDING / DOCUMENTATION ASSISTANT
Through our partnership with Chamber Nation's DocuTeam each of our new / renewing members is assigned their own documentation assistant. They handle research, documentation, onboarding, and launch. This insures continuity in look and feel (and thorough documentation for search engines, etc.) for our whole community.
MOBILE WEB APPS
Since mobile plays such an important role in commerce, each business will have its own mobile web app for additional advertising and communication outreach. EWCOC also provides the community app that is essentially an "App of Apps" and links to other community business and services.
ONLINE DISPLAY MANAGEMENT
A "display" is simply a single electronic advertisement. Each advertisement is typically about a product category, product, or service offered by your business. Each display is designed to be indexed by the major search engines and be included in the community directories, mobile applications, etc.
CUSTOM TEXTING KEYWORDS
Our members each have an "electronic business card" that has their products and services included. You simply have a potential customer open their text message function and enter 72727 in the "to" line, and your special texting keyword in the body of the message. You'll receive an email or text message, with the phone number of that potential customer so you can follow up via text message, email or phone call.
ONLINE CATALOGS WITH CHECKOUT
Your catalogs are an organized easy-to-view collection of each product and/or service you offer. Some businesses have not invested the time to sell online because of the fees. Our members can simply add a price to the display and that converts it into a store item that people can add to the community cart. This is an amazing "Commission Free" check-out service for your business. You then follow up to arrange delivery / payment, etc.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI) REPORTS
Many chambers are often questioned by their members about what their leadership is doing to help the business community succeed. And since our chamber is run by volunteers who ALSO have businesses in the community, we all utilize a powerful reporting tool that explains in great detail how each business is being promoted. We also provide community-wide reports so the public, too, can see the results of your Economic Development Program.
ONLINE TRADE SHOW BOOTHS
Especially enjoyed by our wholesale and BtoB members, Chamber Nation developed a Trade Show platform that is ideal for wholesale or retail. It is also ideal for connecting to your current website to facilitate online meetings, and for business expos or virtual trade shows.
COMMUNITY ADVERTISING PROGRAM- COMING IN 2022
We're all in this together! We know that our area's recovery will depend on all of us in the community reaching as many potential visitors, residents, and online customers as possible. So we're beginning to document our entire area for search without relying on each business to do the work.
