| The area has several
nursery schools and a full fledged day care center.
The Ellenville Central School offers K-4 elementary school, a
new middle school (grades 5-8), and a 1996 high school serving grades
9-12. Total enrollment is slightly less than 2,000 students. A
five-year School Improvement Program is in progress and expanded
computer literacy has a high priority. The school is recognized for
it's excellent music program. A B.O.C.E.S. (Board of Cooperative
Educational Services) Center offers programs for adult technology
training and high school equivalency programs.
